The various delivery companies, despite being able to continue, were suddenly finding themselves under unprecedented pressure and this was leading to delays, and subsequently projects were falling behind schedule.

MANUFACTURING

Factories were forced to close during the lockdown, causing material supply disruptions and delays. Despite reopening during the summer, many facilities have been unable to return to their pre-pandemic output and may not be able to resume supply until at least the end of the year, causing on-going project scheduling issues as the manufacturers try to catch up with producing delayed orders.
